WaPoDe at the “Artificial Intelligence and Security in XXI Century” Conference

Building on the WaPoDe concept and results, Luka Latinović outlined several future directions during the “Artificial Intelligence and Security in XXI Century” conference. He highlighted WaPoDe sensor data as a potentially critical input for AI-driven models that could not only detect but also anticipate water pollution incidents. Future work will focus on developing more robust machine-learning algorithms for anomaly detection, integrating heterogeneous sensor networks into unified monitoring platforms, and exploring how such systems can support early-warning mechanisms for critical infrastructure and environmental security.
