Electrochemical Sensors for Pollutants Detection

The workshop “Electrochemical Sensors for Pollutants Detection”, organised within the PRISMA project WaPoDe – Water Pollutants Detection by ZnO-modified Electrochemical Sensors: From Computational Modeling via Electrochemical Testing to Real System Application, will be held 30 May 2024, at the Faculty of Engineering Management, University Union – Nikola Tesla.

The workshop will bring together researchers in materials science, electrochemistry and engineering, with the aim of promoting new technologies for water pollutant detection and strengthening environmental awareness. The programme includes the presentation of the WaPoDe project, seven scientific presentations, a discussion session, and a visit to the laboratory for electrochemical testing, including a demonstration of sensor preparation and testing.

The accompanying Book of Abstract contains the workshop programme, acknowledgement and disclaimer sections, as well as abstracts dealing with electrochemical sensors for environmental monitoring, ZnO-based sensors for diclofenac detection, modified electrodes for the detection of carbendazim, arsenic ions and pharmaceutical compounds, and other sensor platforms relevant to water quality monitoring.
